The older archives (>10 years old) have been substantially recovered -- more than 23,800 files' worth -- and are now reachable through the search engine and via file download. Email here if you have any questions.
Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. We encourage you to contribute financially, even a dollar helps. Click here to donate.

“Nurse Pimento” uncovers even more hidden Hollywood queerness; it takes more than a “Rainbow Minute” to review “Oscar Wilde’s Fairy Tales”; Uganda oppression escalates with a massive bar raid, riot police protect the Tbilisi premier of a Georgian-Swedish gay film, Hong Kong rallies with Pride despite a parade ban, gay Malaysian men are sentenced to canings for “attempted sex”, a drag reporter crashes Trump’s impeachment hearings, and more LGBTQ news from around the world!
Hosted this week by Greg Gordon and produced with Lucia Chappelle. "NewsWrap" reporters: Rob Lecrone & Marlena Bond, produced by Marlena Bond & Brian DeShazor. Correspondents: Mike Hinerman, produced by Judd Proctor & Brian Burns; Chris Albertson, David "Nurse Pimento" Fradkin. Theme Music: Kim Wilson.
This week's "This Way Out" #1651 contains descriptions of sexual activity that the U.S. Federal Communications Commission may consider to be indecent.
They occur in the "Stranger Than Stranger Than Straight" feature:
> the Ann Franke diary reading includes her thoughts about the beauty of women's bodies, wanting to touch another woman's breasts, and wanting to kiss a woman.
The Bessie Smith/Buffet Flat part (the last element in the collection) has Bessie's niece Ruby describing a man giving another man a tongue bath in one room, and about "men going with men and women going with women" in other rooms of the Buffet Flat (in Detroit in the 1930's).
