While the PM of Japan was opening talks with Iran's leaders, two ships headed to Japan from the Strait of Hormuz were damaged in an attack. Immediately the US points at Iran, but it is an old trick of the Americans. Most countries appear to suspect the accusers. Trump, Pompeo, and Bolton all have a long record of threatening Iran.
