Our presentation this morning takes a long critical look at the media coverage of the Palestine Israel struggle through the eyes of three seasoned journalist activists who have covered this story for years.
First you will hear from Jim Clancy, who began covering the Palestinian struggle from Beirut when the PLO was ensconced there, and continues his coverage to this day.
Second you will hear from Miko Peled, well-known as the generalâs son, who grew up in Jerusalem, has enormous credibility, and continues to write critically about what his very own country is doing to the Palestinian people.
Finally you will hear from Ali Abunimah, whose critical coverage appears regularly in Electronic Intifada, his respected online Chicago-based publication covering news and opinion on the Palestine-Israel conflict.
This panel spoke at the Jerusalem fund and Palestine center in Washington DC last November.
