Political scientist Michael Parenti discusses his book, God and His Demons (2010)--a survey of the woes caused in the name of, and by, Organized Religion.
In Part 1, Parenti talks about child rape by the clergy and the coverup thereof. About the oppressive Buddhist theocracy in pre-Communist Tibet. About Biblical sins we ignore (e.g., "usury") while inventing others (gay marriage). And he rebuts creationism, Intelligent Design, ... and some of the conclusions of Darwin.
